Japanese Meridian Face Lift

Auckland’s Japanese Meridian Face Lift, sculpt, detox and restore with no needles, no machines

A centuries-old Japanese technique, refined for modern skin. The Japanese Meridian Face Lift is a hybrid treatment that combines two powerful approaches: meridian sculpting, which works deep into the muscles, fascia and energy pathways of the face, and lymphatic drainage, which clears congestion and restores skin clarity. Together, using only skilled hands.

No filler. No downtime. Just your face, at its best.

What is the Japanese Meridian Face Lift?

The Japanese Meridian Face Lift is a hands-on facial treatment rooted in traditional Japanese medicine. It works along the meridian pathways of the face, channels that connect the surface of the skin to deeper tissue, muscle and the body’s energy system, while also incorporating targeted lymphatic drainage to clear fluid congestion and restore skin vitality.

Unlike machine-based or injection treatments, this technique uses precise manual pressure and movement to:

  • Stimulate lymphatic drainage and reduce facial puffiness

  • Release tension held in the jaw, brow and forehead

  • Improve circulation for a visible, immediate glow

  • Gently lift and sculpt facial contours over time

  • Support long-term skin health from within

The result is a face that looks rested, lifted and naturally luminous, not altered.

"I had the Japanese meridian facelift and my face looks and feels years younger this morning (a day after). It was also so relaxing that I fell asleep...absolute bliss and I'll be back for more."

Two techniques, one treatment, why the combination makes the difference

Most facial treatments address either the surface of the skin or the structure beneath it. The Japanese Meridian Face Lift works on both, and that’s what makes it different.

The meridian component, the sculpt, uses deep, rhythmic techniques to release tension held in the facial muscles and fascia, stimulate Tsubo (Japanese pressure points), and manually lift the facial structure. Think of it as a workout for the face: targeted, precise and restorative.
The lymphatic component, the detox, uses lighter, specialised strokes to move stagnant fluid from the facial tissues. When the lymphatic and meridian line system becomes sluggish, from stress, poor sleep or simply time, fluid pools beneath the skin, causing puffiness and a loss of definition. Lymphatic drainage and Meridian line massage clear that congestion and allows the face’s natural contours to re-emerge.

Together in one treatment, the results are compounding: the face is lifted and sculpted from within, while congestion and puffiness clear from the surface. It’s why clients often describe the result as looking like themselves, just rested, lighter and more defined.

What happens during your treatment

  • Customised Mask, tailored to your skin’s unique concerns.

What clients say

I’ve been getting my brows done by Izumi for quite a while and she always does a beautiful job. Recently, I had a Japanese meridian face lift facial with her, and I absolutely loved it, my skin is still plump, dewy, and glowing. Even my friends have commented on how lovely my skin looks! Izumi has the most beautiful, calming energy and her Japanese-inspired space feels like you've escaped! She’s also very intuitive and shared supportive insights about what’s happening in my body, which I found so valuable. Every visit with her feels special. Highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions

What is a Japanese facial?

A Japanese facial is a treatment rooted in traditional Japanese beauty philosophy, focusing on long-term skin health, natural results and working with the face’s deeper structure rather than surface-level correction. At En Beauty, our Japanese Meridian Face Lift combines meridian sculpting and lymphatic drainage into one hybrid treatment to lift, define and restore radiance naturally.

Is this the same as lymphatic facial massage?

Not exactly, and the distinction matters. The Japanese Meridian Face Lift incorporates lymphatic drainage as one part of a broader treatment, but it is not purely a lymphatic facial. The lymphatic component clears fluid congestion and puffiness. The meridian component, which is equally central, works deeper, releasing muscle tension, stimulating pressure points and lifting the facial structure from within. It is the combination of both that defines this treatment and sets it apart from a standard lymphatic facial massage.

How is this different from a regular facial?

A standard facial primarily addresses the surface of the skin. The Japanese Meridian Face Lift works at two deeper levels simultaneously, the meridian work releases muscle tension and lifts facial structure, while the lymphatic component clears fluid congestion and restores skin vitality. Results go beyond skin texture to include visible lift, improved definition and a lasting sense of balance.

How many sessions do I need?

Many clients notice a visible difference after their first session. For lasting lift and ongoing improvement, a course of 4–6 sessions is recommended, monthly maintenance thereafter keeps results progressing.

Is it suitable for me if I have had Botox or filler?

Please let Izumi know at your consultation. If you have had recent injections (within 4–6 weeks), some techniques may be modified. For clients looking to transition away from injectables, this treatment is an excellent complement or alternative.

Where is En Beauty located?
