Your brows frame everything. At En Beauty, every brow treatment starts with an honest assessment of your natural shape, growth pattern and face structure, then works with what you have to create the most flattering result possible.

Whether you’re after a full lamination and tint, a precise brow shape, or a defined hybrid tint, En Beauty’s brow treatments are some of the most sought-after in Auckland.

Brow lamination, also called eyebrow lamination, is the treatment Auckland clients ask about most often, and the one that consistently surprises them most once they experience it. Using a professional keratin formula, the treatment restructures each brow hair from the root, lifting it upward and setting it in place for six to eight weeks. The result is brows that look fuller, more defined and naturally groomed, without pencil, without daily effort, and without anything permanent.

What is brow lamination (eyebrow lamination)?

Brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment that restructures the brow hairs, setting them in a lifted, uniform direction for a fuller, more defined look. It’s often called the “brow lift”, and for good reason. The result is a brushed-up, fluffy brow that holds its shape for up to 8 weeks without any daily styling.

At En Beauty, every lamination is performed with a professional keratin treatment that conditions the brow hair as it sets, leaving brows looking thicker, softer and more defined rather than stiff or over-processed.

Most clients pair lamination with a brow tint and shape for a complete, polished result, the full Brow Lamination with Keratin Treatment is En Beauty’s most popular brow service, and consistently one of the top-performing treatments on the North Shore.

Niawase brow mapping: the precision technique behind every En Beauty lamination

Niawase is a Japanese term for harmonious balance. In brow work, niawase means mapping the brow shape to the unique architecture of your face: the spacing between your eyes, the angle of your brow bone, your bone structure, your facial proportions. It is what English-language beauty professionals now call brow mapping, and it is the foundation that makes the difference between a good lamination and one that looks unmistakably like yours.

At En Beauty, every brow lamination begins with this assessment. Before any solution, any tint, any hair removal, your therapist will study your natural brow growth, your face shape, your skin and the result you want. The brow shape that flatters one face will not necessarily suit another, and a template approach is exactly what we work to avoid.

Niawase is the technique Izumi has been refining for over 18 years across Japan and New Zealand. It is one of the few real differences between En Beauty and the high-volume brow studios across Auckland. The lamination treatment itself is largely the same product chemistry available anywhere. The mapping is what changes the result.

When clients tell us they have had brow lamination before but it looked too lifted, too uniform, or simply unlike their own face, the issue is almost always the mapping rather than the lamination. The fix is starting again with proper assessment, not switching products.

The full brow lamination menu, which treatment is right for you?

Brow lamination at En Beauty is offered in three forms, depending on whether you want the brow treatment alone or paired with lash work in the same appointment. Every option includes the keratin lamination, niawase brow mapping, custom hybrid tint, and precise shaping.

Brow Lamination with Keratin Treatment

The core lamination service. Restructures and lifts your brow hairs into a uniform, fuller shape using a professional keratin formula that conditions the hair as it sets. Includes niawase brow mapping, hybrid tint, and precise shaping. Lasts up to 8 weeks.

60 minutes. $120.

Brow Lamination + Lash Tint with Keratin Treatment

The brow lamination above, with a lash tint added in the same appointment. Your lash colour is deepened to match the new definition of your brows, particularly noticeable for fair-haired clients. The lash tint adds only a few minutes and rounds out the eye area.

60 minutes. $136.

Lash Lift + Tint and Brow Lamination with Keratin Treatment

The complete eye and brow appointment. A keratin lash lift, lash tint, and full brow lamination combined into a single session. Popular before weddings, holidays, photography, or any moment that calls for the full result. The most efficient way to do all three treatments together.

90 minutes. $199.

For brow tinting, shaping, or any other brow service that does not include lamination, see the full brow menu at En Beauty Auckland.

What happens at your appointment

Every appointment begins with a Niawase brow mapping consultation: an honest assessment of your natural brow shape, growth pattern and face structure before anything is applied. No two faces are the same, and no two brow treatments should be either.

  • The full Brow Lamination with Keratin Treatment takes approximately 60 to 75 minutes:

  • Niawase brow mapping. Your ideal brow shape is measured and marked based on your facial proportions, growth pattern, and the result you want.

  • Lamination solution. Applied to restructure and lift the brow hairs while you relax.

  • Keratin setting solution. Locks the new direction in place and conditions the hair.

  • Tint. Colour is applied and developed to deepen and define the brows.

  • Shaping. Precise removal of stray hairs to refine the final shape.

  • Finish. Brow serum applied. Aftercare explained.

Avoid getting brows wet for 24 hours after your appointment. Avoid oil-based products near the brow area to extend the longevity of the treatment.

Frequently asked questions

What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment that uses a professional keratin solution to lift and reshape your natural brow hairs, holding them in a uniform direction for around 6 to 8 weeks. There is no needle, no pigment, and no permanent change. The hairs are simply restructured upward to give a fuller, brushed-up appearance. At En Beauty, every lamination is performed with a keratin treatment that conditions the hair as it sets, leaving brows softer rather than stiff or over-processed.

How long does brow lamination last?

Brow lamination typically lasts 6–8 weeks, depending on your hair type, skin type and aftercare. Most clients book every 6–7 weeks to maintain their results. Avoid oil-based products near the brows to extend longevity.

Does brow lamination damage brow hairs?

When performed correctly with a professional formula and proper timing, brow lamination does not damage brow hairs. The keratin treatment used at En Beauty conditions the hair as it processes. Over-processing or repeated treatments without adequate breaks can cause dryness, which is why spacing appointments correctly matters.

What is the difference between brow lamination and microblading?

Eyebrow lamination is another name for brow lamination, both refer to the same semi-permanent treatment that lifts and sets your natural brow hairs without needles or pigment. Brow lamination is a non-permanent treatment that works with your existing brow hairs, restructuring, lifting and setting them in place. It lasts 6–8 weeks and requires no needles or pigment. Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that implants pigment into the skin. Brow lamination is a great option for clients who want to explore fuller brows before committing to anything permanent.

Can I get brow lamination if I have sparse brows?

Yes, brow lamination works by lifting and setting the hairs you have, making sparse brows appear fuller and more defined. A tint alongside the lamination adds depth and the appearance of greater density. For very sparse brows, Izumi will discuss the most realistic outcome during your consultation.

What is brow mapping?

Brow mapping is the process of measuring and marking your ideal brow shape based on your unique facial proportions before any treatment, tint, or hair removal. It is the foundation of any brow service, and it determines whether the final result flatters your specific face or just applies a fashionable shape to it. At En Beauty, brow mapping is performed using the Japanese niawase technique that Izumi has been refining for over 18 years. It is the reason our laminations look like a better version of your own face rather than a template.

How do I prepare for my brow appointment?

Come with clean, makeup-free brows. Avoid tinting, waxing or threading for at least 2 weeks before a lamination. Let Izumi know about any skin conditions, allergies or recent treatments around the brow area at your consultation.

Can I get brow lamination after microblading?

Yes. Brow lamination can be performed over microbladed brows, and it is a popular option for clients whose pigment has faded or whose original microblading no longer matches their natural growth direction. The lamination works on the actual brow hairs, not the pigment, so it does not interfere with the microblading. Many clients find that lamination softens the look of older microblading by adding fluffy texture over the top. We will assess the condition of your brows and pigment at your consultation before treatment.

How much does brow lamination cost in Auckland?

Brow lamination at En Beauty starts from $119 for a full keratin lamination treatment. This includes the restructuring process and is often combined with a tint and shape for a complete result. Current pricing is listed on our pricing page.

What is the difference between brow lamination and a brow tint?

They address different things. Brow lamination changes the direction and structure of your brow hairs, lifting them upward and setting them in place for six to eight weeks. Brow tinting changes their colour, adding depth and definition. Many clients benefit from both - a lamination and tint combination is one of the most complete brow treatments available. During your consultation we will recommend what will have the most impact for you specifically.

How is En Beauty's brow lamination different from other salons?

Every brow lamination at En Beauty begins with a consultation that assesses your natural brow shape, growth pattern and face structure before anything is applied. The treatment is performed by therapists trained to Izumi Sugihara's standard - an internationally awarded lash and brow artist with over 18 years of experience. The result is shaped to your face, not applied from a template.

Where is En Beauty located?

En Beauty is located at B2/129 Onewa Road, Northcote, Auckland, on the North Shore, with free parking directly out front. Easily accessible from Takapuna, Birkenhead, Devonport and Albany.
