Niawase is a Japanese term for harmonious balance. In brow work, niawase means mapping the brow shape to the unique architecture of your face: the spacing between your eyes, the angle of your brow bone, your bone structure, your facial proportions. It is what English-language beauty professionals now call brow mapping, and it is the foundation that makes the difference between a good lamination and one that looks unmistakably like yours.

Can I get brow lamination after microblading?
Yes. Brow lamination can be performed over microbladed brows, and it is a popular option for clients whose pigment has faded or whose original microblading no longer matches their natural growth direction. The lamination works on the actual brow hairs, not the pigment, so it does not interfere with the microblading.
